All About Blogger

What is blogger?
A blog is a personal diary, a collection of links, your own private thoughts, memos to the world, a summary of the day's occurrences or a bulletin for upcoming events.
Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules. In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis.
New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new first. Then they comment on it, link to it or email you.

It really is whatever you want it to be.

Helpful Homophone Websites

We have been working on homophones this week. Here are some websites that will help the students with homophones. They can use them to study for the upcoming test.

11-6-2008 Class

In class today the students worked on their story guides and their story maps. If this was not completed today it will be finished tomorrow and must be turned in by the end of class for a grade. We also took an open book test over the story we have been reading, Three Skeleton Keys.
For homework this week, the students need to be talking to their parents/guardians about how they were named. In class next week will be researching the origin and history of our names and will complete a writing piece with all that we have discovered with our names.
